10" by 10" acrylic on canvas.
Fourth installment in my "fish out of water series," aka "sushi series" or "seafood series." I like the alliteration of the last two, but being as indecisive as i am, i can't decide on which to name this series; any thoughts?
This is a five-point starfish with some keyhole limpets, and it was also the easiest to paint of the whole series, and is one of my favorites.

This one is definitly my favorite of all of them too, a :+fav: for me! I think I like the series name 'fish out of water'

Yeah, i think that's what i've decided for this series. People generally like that name for it, and it kind of fits well i guess. Thanks for your comment!

Really nice colours, they compliment each other well.... I like the shadows around the edges, and again, the water droplets are awesome. I usually like to leave constructive criticism, and a lot of it.... but your work's so damn near perfect I haven't been able to find anything yet... except a small suggestion that you could enhance the shadows on the edge of the starfish, it looks a bit flat otherwise. But really, really lovely paintings. In fact, if you don't mind, I'm going to stalk you... on DA, that is. ;P

I do have a life! Plenty, in fact. I just took five last week and haven't disposed of them yet.

I love the colours in this, so striking, and the composition is fab. The water droplets look great :nod:
